Thursday:
Luckily last night I did some laundry to get a jump start on 'Laundry Day', so I was ahead of the game in the morning. We were outside hanging a load while I had Annabelle wrapped on my back and I asked Liam to hand me some clothes pins. He said he didn't want to, and granted, I could have done it all myself, but I'm of the philosophy other talk about of letting the child know they have a job, and a place, and a purpose. So I explained that when he needs help with things sometimes, I will always help him, and right now, I needed his help. He quickly caught on and handed me clothespins. Of course I thanked him when we were done and let him play as long as he wanted outside, which wasn't very long, considering how hot it is. He also helped me fold some towels today, and helped me keep an eye on Annabelle and her diaper-free day.
