Friday:
Beth and Ari came over today to keep us company as we work through this long week without Dad. Liam had a blast and was so good about sharing his toys. Beth and I had some tea, which the boys wanted to partake in as well, so I made the a cup of watered-down peppermint tea for them to share. Ari didn't have much interest in it, and Liam ended up drinking both of theirs. For lunch, we decided to order a pizza from a new pizza place in town. When it came time to eat, we set the table, Liam getting the paper plates, and then he went over to Ari and asked him, "You want have some pizza, Ari?" It was the cutest. They both ate a lot, then Annabelle went down for a nap, and shortly after Beth and Ari left and Liam and I both laid down as well. That was kinda a fight. This whole week, he's been taking his nap around noon to one-o'clock at the latest and it was nearing two before he finally settled in bed. He's the kind of kid who really thrives on schedules.
For dinner, I asked Liam if he wanted carrots or sweet potatoes, and he, being a lover of each of them, excitedly exclaimed "Both!" So, we did. That and green beans and meatballs. He ate everything except his meatballs. He could very easily be a vegetarian.
