Saturday:
Today is the day Gigi and Papa are coming in, and Liam is very excited. Ever since we told him they were coming into town (we told him on Wednesday) he asks upon waking from bed and nap if they are here. I think learning the days of the week still have yet to come. But, today he woke, very proud that he stayed in bed till 8:00 and he mentioned "I covered myself up!" So he got his no-cry treats. We then said Gigi and Papa were on their way, and he was excited about that.
He's had a fun filled day of book reading, tickling, tumbling, and more with his Gigi and Papa. I was talking to Bonny, who's mom is in town, and she finds the same thing happens with her and Violet that happens to Liam and Gigi. Parents become not so cool, and everything is about the grandparent. Liam even insisted on sitting outside the bathroom door while Gigi is in there using the restroom. I'm not going to try and fight it or reason with him. He's just enamored with her Gigi-ness. It's very sweet.
