Phillip works his SOD shift this week, so he is home in the morning, and then leaves in the afternoon, and doesn't get to see the kids till the next day. I think Liam is starting to catch on that Phillip's not here and beginning to express that. He asked frequently today, "Where's dad?" "Where's dad's car?" "He's at Home Depot." "His car at Home Depot."I can tell when Phillip leaves, that these weeks are not only hard on me and the kids.
So, since just us three have a lot of time together this week, we are trying to figure out stuff to do. We went out to The Herb Bar today to get an Amber teething necklace for Annabelle, and Liam is completely fascinated with it. He's asked on numerous occasions if he can take it off, if he could wear it, etc. In fact, in the car on the way home, I heard him talking to Annabelle, "Can I take your necklace off? Alright. Can I wear it? Ok, alright. Can I have your necklace Anbel? Alright." As soon as I caught on to what he was saying, I explained that he can't take it off her, and no, he can't have it either. I think he was kinda bummed.
After we got home, he constantly was touching it, and trying to play with it. I thought it was funny. He was being pretty goofy, so I took a picture of him.
