Tuesday:
Liam woke to Phillip's alarm going off, and then I woke to him standing in the middle of the room asking, "What is that?" I woke Phillip, and then briefly later, Annabelle did, so we all got up to get ready to head out to Garland for the funeral service for Mudder, who passed last Friday. We planned to bring them in the service and if either of them got too loud, we'd head out. Liam began sitting with Gigi and the rest of the family in the front, and I stayed back towards the back of the church so that I could sneak out if I had too. Mimi sat with me. It wasn't long till Liam came towards the back with Gigi in hand and sat down with us. I think he was getting tired and he sat in my lap and laid his head on my shoulder and I think almost fell asleep. I don't think it was long after that when the service let out for us to go eat. Liam was excited to eat, because after that, he got to eat a small piece of strawberry cake. After he was done, Padad showed him what to do with his cup when he was done with it. He was very into this, and then went on to pick up all the other cups and throw them away as well. He's oh so helpful.
After the service, we headed back to Gigi and Papa's to get packed up to head to Sulpher Springs where we stayed in a hotel to then head to Clearwater for the burial tomorrow. It was a busy day and I'm glad we got to bed semi early.
