Saturday:
Last night, Phillip and I were watching a movie in the living room and Liam wasn't liking the noise it made. We rarely watch movies or any TV in the living room, so I can see how it's a noise he's not accustomed to. Dad had the great idea of closing his door. Well, then it would be too dark. So I gave him a flashlight to have and keep on while he slept. Solution? Maybe, at least until 5:00 in the morning when he wakes and sees the battery has run out. After him going potty and leaving his and the bathroom door open and the bathroom light on, he went back to bed.
Before we napped, Daniel came over to drop off belated birthday gifts for Liam which were a canvas bag that Liam can wear on his back that Rayne painted on, a Twinkle Twinkle Little Star story book that Rayne recorded the story in, and two stuffed caterpillars, one for Liam and one for Annabelle. Liam really liked the book and as soon as it opened and played, I asked him who that was reading the story, and he said, "That Yane!"
Nap was better today. Liam napped from 1:00 to almost 3:30, but Annabelle only from 1:00 to just shy of 2:00. I think I need to stop trying to nap when they do, because waking up when you are expecting to sleep longer doesn't help with the fierce annoyance you get upon waking.
