Sunday:
We are leaving Gigi and Papa's house today, and almost all morning, all Liam did was play with Annabelle's purse she got yesterday. He played with his airplane too, but the purse was the bigger hit.
At one point, I went into the bigger living room, just me and him and he sat in my lap, and we just had some time together. I think there has been a lot of going and going and going, and he is the type of kid who just needs to take a break every now and then and just slow down. So we cuddled, talked, he talked about Annabelle's phone and how he liked it. Then when I had to get up to go get Annabelle, he followed me and said, "I want have some Mommy Time." I guess this is the term for, 'no sit down with me again'. I think he's ready for a slower pace of things. I'm glad he had so much fun with Gigi and Papa and that's one thing we talked about; how we are going to see them again, and it won't be too long. Talking about that beforehand always seems to make good-bye easier.
