Tuesday:

Today is Violet's birthday and we are going to give her a Toddler Sling so that she can carry around her dolls while her Mommy carries around her new baby brother. I asked Liam to pick a color out for her and he picked the light blue one with leaves on it. I wanted to try it on him first to make sure it would fit a toddler. It did, perfectly, and I put his Curious George in it to get an idea of how it would work for a Toddler. He loved it. It was interesting to me almost immediately once it was one, he actually made a sort of connection with his monkey, much like I see in mamas and much like I see in myself when I put Annabelle or Liam on. He began to look over him, checking his eyes, ears, etc. He would pat him, and touch him softly. It really instilled in me the value of baby wearing. Not long after it was on, he said, "I need to vacuum now!" and went to get his lawn mower and began to 'vacuum' with it. That obviously was more a learned behavior than anything, but cute none the less.
