Saturday:

Ruth went to an ICAN meeting this morning, so Liam and I stayed at the house and installed a faucet that Ruth and I bought at The Home Depot on clearance some time back. Liam was really into it for about 30 minutes. He held the flashlight steady while I crammed myself into the bathroom cabinet to disconnect the supply lines and the old faucet and install the new. He asked, "Can I let the dogs in?" (we are keeping Rayne and Daniel's dogs while Daniel is visiting Rayne). I replied that he could and he disappeared for the next 45 minutes. The dogs periodically came in and licked my back while I sweated in the vent-less bathroom. Finally with the fixture installed, Liam was eager to wash his hands. He did so several times.

Ruth returned home with Annabelle and the day commenced. Liam was definitely ready for a nap. After nap, Ruth and I began to prepare dinner and Liam was running around with the dogs, sweating and screaming; quite excited. At one point, he noticed that the dog with the prominent underbite (I believe she goes by "Bella") had a 'wrapped up tail.' He exclaimed several times, "the dog's tail is wrapped up" while he proceeded to straighten it, with limited success. Dinner was smooth. I switched chairs with Ruth while she experimented with Annabelle's dinner without her tray. I sat next to Liam.

Liam also took his Dog and put him on Annabelle's potty and mentioned Dog had to go potty. He then took the bubbles and began blowing them. "Mommy blows bubbles with Anbel." he said.
