So marker board...not such a good idea maybe. Liam has now been banned from using it on the couch since he has colored on it twice now. Albeit by accident, I don't want the couch covered in marker. He now has to be on the table, fridge or floor. I don't think that's too much to ask. I thought maybe he could do it on the couch and still be careful, but I think I was a little too presumptuous about his ability to keep the ink with in the limits of the board. He still has fun. I told him he couldn't color while sitting on the couch and told him where he could and he said, "Alright." And moved to the coffee table.
