Tuesday:
Violet came over today after nap time. She and Liam got to watch popcorn pop on the stove in a glass dish, which I think was quite exciting for them, and me actually. Then we went outside to play in the sand box. They took turns hiding each other's hands, and sea shells, and sticking sticks up in piles of sand and singing Happy Birthday! Very imaginative. Then we saw a spider. At first Violet was a little worried, but I told her it was a nice spider and then both of them became very interested in it. Lot of sand digging, racking, shoveling, and more went on this afternoon. Liam always enjoys having friends over.
